New shift knob, leather e-brake boot. Euro grills. Touch up the rocker panels with some 3M black rubberized undercoating. It's what I used. Can't really tell if your car needs it, but it makes a big difference.

Or learn from my experience and save the money until you really need it for something in the future.

$150 won't get you anything really worth buying, unless you are trying to build up a long mod list for nickle and dime parts. Save it, put it towards something bigger, or spend it on 5 autocrosses.

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Okay - $150 for fun stuff to make the car look and feel better...PROVIDING YOU HAVE HAD THE TIMING BELT CHANGED RECENTLY!

If not, spend your money on that. Otherwise...

$75 on eBay for some rear headrests w/ brackets. Instantly will set your car apart from every other red E30 'vert you will see. You know you want them. Extra bonus, if your rear seats are splitting at the top seams (like mine are), the rear headrest draw your eyes away from that little flaw.

$50 (approx) for 2 cans SEM Black Trim paint and 2 cans SEM Self-Etching Primer. Yes - you want this mod. Stop staring at your chrome trim wondering...just do it. Pulling the trim off a 'vert is much easier than on a coupe. Again - it will set your car apart from every other red E30 'vert you will see. If you want some help on this when you are back in C-bus, let me know - I've got extra trim clips in case you break any getting the parts off.

$25 on eBay for the cheapie leather e-brake and shift boot set. Or look for some used E30 M3 leather e-brake handle and boots...anything but the stupid-ass plastic accordion thing that comes stock.

Happy birthday...my B-day is tomorrow (I'll be 35 - :o ). My wife is getting me a low-profile floor jack so I can actually get the jack under the car now that it is lowered!

I would love to get the rear headrests and I didn't look at your car hard enough..you do have shadowlining. If I can get my heatshield and a steering wheel sold I will be able to get the bumpers in the forsale section. My G/F can get me paint for the trim and I will get the headrests with money from my aunt and uncle. Also I do have a new shift boot and I plan on putting it on when I get my new lever installed. Man so much too do...I can't wait!

Just make sure the paint your GF gets is SEM brand Trim Paint...it is the only stuff that everyone I've ever talked to trusts.

This guy is who I bought my headrests from...

How hard is it to install the headrests? Do I have to cut a lot?

                              for 150$ i would:

                              1: nice steering wheel
                              2. pick up some basketweaves and refinish them
                              3. mp3 player?
                              4. euro ellipsoid lights
                              5. or just fix all the small crap in your car
