Prison is not a place where Martha Stewart belongs, but I think she should be HEAVILY fined.

"Stewart had a reputation before the trial as a ruthless businesswoman, and in court she was portrayed as rude, insulting, demanding and cheap. According to testimony, she once threatened to take her business elsewhere because she did not like her brokerage’s telephone hold music."

Fuck her. Hope she enjoys her cell time. She'll have other things to worry about than telephone hold music.

I agree, but I think the Enron criminals should be strung up by their Balls. I lost quite a bit of money in that bullshit. yet the majority of them still run free.

Lets see send marth to Jaill will kill K-Mart and more people will be unemployed, yea smart thinking there. Glad to see where are tax dollars are wasted.

That is by far, the single best comment I've heard all week.

Personally I think she should do a little time. Not the 20 years she could get, but maybe 6 months to a year. She's be going to a "country club" prison anyway so its not like she's going to be doing hard time. I could just see Martha at Riker's Island, Sing Sing or Folsom, she wouldn't last a week.

If she ends up getting some jail-time, its going to be a great wake-up call to all of the greedy corporate scumbags out there. Props to the U.S. Judicial System for having some balls and giving her what she deserves.

no it wont. they'll just denounce her actions, and be more creative.

                            Did Enron change anything?

I thought you meant Ryan Stewart, I was afraid I was going to get into this thread and find his car totalled.

                              Don't scare me like that!
