    TEH Ultimate Upgrade.>

    sorry for bigass pictures.
so i strip down veedubs for a living (CarParts4Sale.com). we just moved into this new shop July 1st. and we finally got a lift: Mohawk IA-10. Installed this morning. 10,000 lb capacity, overkill i know but at least we can put the forklift up on there now too.
no more misplaced jackstands damage, no more fear of losing limbs under falling cars ( i guess now its all or nothing ), no more jack being stuck under car w/o subframes, no more draggin car shells around with a truck and chain, no more laying in piles of fluids/oil dry. pretty much the best tool ever.

this may not be big news for you mechanics. but anyone who has a work space on their gravel driveway w/o air tools would appreciate it.

we went from these ghetto methods:

    thats my french canuck friend

this is the shop we just moved out of.

    to this sweetness:

this comes just in time, im replacing my engine harness next week. not sure what all that requires but im sure the lift will help.

I just got through replacing my clutch and can say without a doubt, having the car on a lift made the job immeasurably easier and safer. I want one in my own garage, one day.

That is what I want. Unfortunately my garage's roof is too low.

Pres of our CCA chapter had a nice one FS recently - and my garage was too low for it. Otherwise, I'd have been all over it.

This will probably up your guys' productivity too.

                              Good stuff.
