It's tough to generalize with swaps. There are a lot of people that are just terrible at working on things and don't give a shit about anything other than getting the thing done and posting filtered pics on Instagram. I would say a flat-bill-built m50 that runs and drives, but needs everything is worth somewhere between nothing and $2500... While an adult built S52 with something other than BC's and some attention to detail is worth 11-$13k

Typically here on r3v the guys are very thorough with their cars. when they start something they whined up going beyond a swap and actually put on a lot of money and hours.

It depends on how meticulous, no comer cutting, the build was.. with the over head cams it just feels smoother imo..

I just ordered a set of 225-50-16's and a few other things that I wanted to take care of. After everything is done. I will take much better pics, list everything done to it and post the car for sale. Probably the end of the month, I am trying to get a pdr to remove all the door dinks.

Shadow lined, Swartz 1991 325i (101,XXX miles)coupe with a US S50(9X,XXX miles) swap and ZF310 trans with 3.46 LSD.

21.5 pink top injectors, 3.5 euro MAF, KA motors intake with a SSSquid tune. 330ci club sport steering rack, condor delrin motor and trans mounts. Borla muffler.

Working A/C and ABS, Mishimoto radiator, SPAL puller. CA tuned true coilovers front and rear with camber plates. Front,rear strut bars and HIK skid plate. 5 lug swap with E46M3 brakes.

E21 black Recaros with black and gray door cards. PODI gauge pod with air fuel, fuel pressure, oil pressure and oil temperature.

Nardi 330 deep dish with NRG quick release with working horn. All lights work including check engine light. E38 BBS style 5's. Fog lights and premium sound system. With a clear title.

This is the only car I have been able to find relatively comparable to mine.

They were only meant to be temporary. I wanted to see how much meat I could fit under the car. Obviously 235/60/16 was too much, lol.

I listed my royalbleu convertible for $6k a few months ago but only got a few serious inquiries.

Here's what it is:
M50 bone stock but refreshed mated to a ZF320 that came from a 99 328 with less than 60K miles on it (still fixed the pin detentes, though), and diff from a Z3 2.8 (torsen).

The interior is minty black with OEM "black" carpet, but I also asked any buyer to take a separate entire tan interior w/ carpet.

Hardtop included in that price. Softtop is in excellent condition except for the window.

16" BBS 003s excellent condition, never rebuilt...just sat in the garage for the past 20 years while the car rolled on 15" BBS 001s. H&R w/ Bilsteins.

Included euro bumpers and MTech1 rear valence. Cluster and check panel are euro. Headlights are smilies.

No rust (benefits of being a SoCal car) but clear coat is shot (downside of desert sun), but straight except dings in the two front fenders...but have two color matched fenders.

Half a garage worth of parts, like extra transmission, dash, fenders, doors, headlight wipers.

Seemed like the people who were inquiring about it had their priorities twisted since they weren't able to look past the paint so I figured they didn't know what the hell they were potentially looking at. Then my daughter was born and I ran out of motivation to sell it. Probably just keep it parked in the garage until she's 16 and then give it to her.

Well, a extremely well build car is worth a heck of alot more than the reference prices mentioned..just depends on the level of the build
