Been working on taking pictures for you guys! I'll have to take Klaus over and re-introduce him to the granny since I didn't take pictures at his arrival.

After he arrived I let him lounge around on the couch for a while, he decided to come into work the next day, he wasn't too interested in anything work related but he did seem to enjoy my lunch break project of re-designing an e46 m3 streering knuckle for better track geometry:

Since he was still feeling a bit jet-lagged from his last trip I thought some brews and ball whacking would cheer him up, turns out he's quite the golfer and we scored the lowest round I've personally shot all season in my golf league:

This weekend we took the racecar to a car show, Klaus had fun looking at the other Germans. I was so busy trying make sure he didn't steal the LSX swapped e30 touring that I didn't get hardly any pictures of our time at the show:

Now that he was feeling fully refreshed I told Klaus we'd have to get busy with racecar prep or we'd never make it to Gridlife at Road Atlanta in time. Not surprisingly Klaus volunteered for the destructive tasks.

I'm not sure turning him lose with a cutoff wheel was the best idea, he refused to wear any PPE, says he likes it dirty and dangerous. I have to admit, he did an ok job:

That didn't quench his thirst for metal shavings so we moved onto the rear fenders. the goal is to fit 18x11's with 285 re71 tires. I thought we were pretty much set, but Klaus want's to revisit the project this evening to be sure:

Overall he's been a great help on the car and I think it only fair after all his work that he gets to make the road trip from MI to ATL to see the car run after all the work he put in, plus Ludacris is preforming in the evening after the racing winds down for the day. Turns out the little guy is a rap fan?! who knew?

I'll have a more pictures to share along the way from the trip to Gridlife and then he'll be on his way to the next destination! (I've already got mplfosters address)
