    Part Number Request...searched...can't find

This should be simple, but RealOEM is making it difficult. The screw that holds down the fuse box to the car body is being elusive (circled in blue)...

Real OEM has a part that looks like it's right, but it is greyed out. I found it not greyed out in a 325i schematic, but that P/N returns a Phillips head screw, where the original is an 8mm head.

Basically I'm wanting to go replace mine with a new one because mine is corroded and I just spent a ton of time remodeling the electrical system, don't want to reattach my shiny new electrical system with a dirty old screw.

    Thanks!

    Isn't that just a standard m6 bolt? It's an 8mm head right?

I bet this is the same.

its a self tapping bolt, 8mm head but with cutting threads like a wood screw. I think i found it on ECS, but i cant tell what the "4" means in ST4.8x22. Otherwise i think it means Self Tapping 8mm x 22mm. On chat with them now. Also it is yellow zinc plated.

Grade, maybe? I'm not as familiar with metric grading.

4.8 is the diameter of the screw in mm. Screws/bolts are designated by the thread diameter, not the head diameter. 22 means 22mm long.

Thanks Andrew. I was thinking that might be it. According to my micrometer the screw in question has an outer thread diameter of 4.78mm and a Length of just over 19mm, which is this one...

Why not just find one at Pick and Pull? I've scavenged loads of hardware there. That type of screw is also used at the back of the glovebox, so it may be easy to locate one that is not rusted.
