    e34 525 tds?

Someone local has a 525 tds that was imported from Germany in 1999. osmoshwartz metallic. 5 speed. i was thinking about this, since I don't really need the 90 325is I just picked up.

says it gets like 30 city 38 highway. black cloth (id try to find some leather) and it has the power front windows crank in back (like my touring, and the e36 touring up the road).

has 140k, recent water pump anf fan clutch, said body has a couple spots bubblin but nothin major

Anyone have any feedback on these? i just really want something with good gas mileage, and I wouldn't mind a 5 instead of a 3. Already have the touring for summer cruising.

I offered him a straight up trade on my 90 325is. seta bottom end 2.5 top, new radiator, t stat, just replaced the tb, sony cd/mp3 and infinity's all around, etc. he seems interested.

yea I'm not really worried about slow too much. I have a stroker going into my touring as soon as my 283 cam gets here from the groupbuy, i have an 01 r6, and if i can get the money together i'm gonna put an rb26dett in my 240z

i just want something with good gas mileage that can get me to school and be comfortable. I am curious however if I can do some mods to get at least a little more power out of it

thats what really pisses me off. i'm not after structural integrity in my daily driver. my 240z is for the track, and has no sunroof, and will stay that way

but my touring: no sunroof. this car: no sunroof.

the e36 touring up the road i want to buy some day; no sunroof

ARGH all the euro cars in the states that I come across don't have a sunroof!

I drove a 525 tds in Europe. Not so great fuel economy, slow, smelly. I really don't see the alure of diesels.

                      Keep it slideways!!

hm. if they're not great on gas I'm not too interested. Maybe I'll just pick up an e36 for a dd.

I just don't see myself putting a rust free e30 through a winter, and I'm also looking for something with either more room, or back seats that fold down. a 4 door e36 325i would be alright by me.

What the fuck are you smoking? Lay off of it for a while.

ColdAccord: I was averaging about 12 L / 100, which isn't that great, and you have to beat on it to get up to speed. I only drove it for a day, and drove a 628CSi for the rest of my vacation because it didn't burn much more and was a shit tonne more fun to drive, not to mention awesome looking on 17" Azev A's.

Some good shit, And someone was asking about the alure of diesels. And i simply stated, People like them because they are different. They dont get good gas mileage. And you will be cleaning a black rear bumper once a week. Dont get your pannies in a bunch
