my dodge with a 5.9 litre cummins gets 24mpg city/highway. lol 22 when towing 10k, better than my e30.

oh and the more mods you do to the diesel the better gas milage it gets.

the allure of diesels, for me, is gas mileage. not to be different. I have friends with tdi jettas getting mpg in the mid to high 40's. I could deal with that.

the more air in diesels the lower the egt's the better the gas milage. heh, when my truck was stock i got 20mpg after i put on the 4 inch, BHAF, tweaked the hell out of the injector pump im at 24mpg.
