The brake pads on the front are different for each location of the car...True or False (As in you have to make sure you match your pair of front pads appropriately...yes or no?)

It's false in relation to left-front and right-front but true in relation to front and back. ( meaning that the pads on the front are the same in both left and right wheels, but the pads in the rear are different than the ones on the front )

Technically that is incorrect. The left front brake pad is different from the right front as it has a provision for a brake pad wear sensor. But we'll give it to you anyways.

True drivers don't need no lights telling 'em thier pads are out...hello look ma..no sensors :o

I based this on someone getting pads without the sensors....my bad...damn exceptions and technicalities heh heh

Ok thanks for the info there..... when I did my brake job I didnt bother with the brake sensors so I didnt think of that :P

                    My question:
What differential did a '90 e30 325iS automatic come with? ( include the ratio as long as if it is a limited slip or open diff )

                        According to ETK,

They came in both LSD and non-LSD 4.10

hmmm I didnt know about the non-LSD part. To my knowledge all auto iS's had a 4.10LSD.

But you are correct. Ask away my friend.

During decelleration do the rear trailing arms toe in? or do they toe out?

Is this good or bad and why?

Out I believe, I'd say good as it probally helps with slowing down the vehicle.(not positive)

i believe they toe-in, which is not a good thing as it can cause the rear to get a bit twitchy under hard braking and cornering.
