There is no gov. on these cars, and I'm pretty sure it's 138mph.

As for the air temp sensors, the early 89 had the old kind with the long wire where as the late 89 had the short yellow one.

CMON PEOPLE read my post to Hawk. Think about it.

Ok in the following photo is shown two Conecting rods A and B, they either came out of a m20b27(eta) or a m20b25(I) engine.
Which one is from the m20b25 I engine? (A or B)
And why is it's length different from the other conecting rod?

A because it has a shorter stroke crank.

Rod A is the B25 rod. It is longer to give a better rod ratio for the higher revving engine with lower peak pistion acceleration.

modifiede30-correct. The left rod is the 325i rod and it is longer to make up for the shorter stroke throw, so that the piston travel up to the same height as the eta motor in the m20 block. Yes it does help with the rod stroke ratio but I was looking for the due to the crank stroke. Ask away modifiede30. You better of gotten that question right since you building up a m20 engine :D

Let's hope my memory doesn't fail.

                    Here's an easy (maybe) one.

In 1988, BMW made the "super eta". What components of the m20/b27 super eta cylinder head are different than a standard m20/b25 head?

                        Be a bit more specific.

Cam, dual valve spings, and larger valves in super-eta head.

The valves of the super eta and "i" are the same.

The heads are identical, the ONLY difference, is the Supereta uses an E cam.

There is another difference besides the cam.
