2007 Mazdaspeed 3 is HOT

My mom drives an 05 Mazda 3 hatch S and I love it. The brakes are amazing. The stock suspension is pretty stiff and has a multilink rear setup. It handles great and the 2.3 engine is pretty adequate and refined, and the thing looks hawt. I saw an article in the Oct Car&Driver that they are coming out with an 07 Mazdaspeed turbocharged version. It is going to have 264hp and 280tq. Does anyone else really like the way Mazda has been going lately? I might look into one of these for a nice daily after graduation.

everytime I see a rx-8 I think about third gen rx-7's and get sad. Then I think about my hard-on for wenkel's and I think that I would like a rx-8. Maybe the car to get the gfriend. It won't be mine, per se, but I could raise hell with it. She says she wants a 4-door, do suicide half-doors count?

The 3 'speed is still FWD not AWD. The 6 'speed is AWD.

Mazda built an awd rally inspired car based of their eco-box of the 80's The 323 GTX 4wd turbo scoot. Not bad but was not a hot seller.

Everytime I get a hard on for a third gen RX7, I talk to someone that actually owns one of those POS's and it goes back limp.
