    Question about a car on ebay

    Hey there everyone! I found a nice '87 325i with 156,000 miles on it on ebay with no bids for a very nice price (and no reserve!). However, my question is pretty much directed at the Mods... Are we allowed to post links to cars to get input on how the car looks and if it seems to be a good by (strictly from the pictures and the description). The car is down in New Jersey and I just found it last night, so I've been trying to get a feel for the car by inspecting all the pics and reading through the specs and description. I really just need some strict input and first impressions from the E30 experts here.

    I'll withdraw the link until a Mod approves or disapproves.

      go ahead and post. i have yet to seen a MOD lock a link or delete one from posting a link. otherwise go to www.bimmerforums.com and talk to the boys on that site

          Looks like a good car to me. I would pay @ 2500 for it.

              That's the car. Now, as most of you will notice, it is not by any means in super awesome condition, but it looks like great transportation, which is what I need the most. However, it seems the car has been well maintained so it would be a nice introduction into the E30 scene and it looks like a nice base for some tuning.

              So... What are your thoughts?

                      Accually, it is against the rules to post a link to an active ebay auction. Josh usually locks/deletes them.

                          Is it okay if we keep it open for just a bit more? I'm just looking for a few bits of information if its worth the price.

                              car looks good to me. If it gets locked then go to www.bimmerfest.com or www.bimmerforums.com. I know for a fact that this thread will be safe. We are here to help people out and if someone needs to post a link they should be able to so we can tell them one way or another.

                                  I love the fact that a newbie is telling people on the site to directly go against posted forum rules.

                                  granoladude would have to do nothing more than PM one of the mods, and explain why he would like to post the link. I would have had no problem with it.

                                      might be a noob on this site but not the others. i have been around these boards reading and sharing my opions for quite some time now. and i could care less what people think. if a fellow bimmer guy wants a opion i say go for it as will I

                                          Sorry about that Eurospeed! That totally slipped my mind :(. I hope I didn't bend too many rules, and I'll certainly remember for next time.

                                                  thanks... I've been holding out for a while now just to see if any last minute bids came in and to see what the forum had to say about it. It will be interesting to see if anyone else pulls in towards the very end.
