E30 Drama - can I get a witness?

After running afoul of Princess Jordan on BFC, I was treated to some denigrating comments by SQ Bimmer. Namely, he admonished that I was a "douchebag like the rest of the people at R3v" or something to that effect.

Now, I'm an older fella, and it's usually apparent to me when there's a problem, but I'm missing some crucial info.

Compared to the E30 forum at BFC, I've seen ZERO douchebaggery on Rev. Is there more to the story? Does Jordan have some strange power over some of the BFC populace? Was his E30 really so nice that he's now considered a god?

His E36 proves nothing to me. It's as ordinary as they come. Somebody please enlighten me. I just don't see it.

Back when Jordan owned r3v, he was such a douche that people from other forums hated r3v.
I guess that those morons over at bf.c didn't realize that after Jordan migrated over to bimmerforums, most of the duchebaggery is now at BF.c instead of r3v...


Think of it this way, Jordan is a douche but he acted like a filter. He was not affraid to ban all of the completely useless idiots. Once those people were banned, they moved to bimmerforums.
Now, you have a place with all of the stupidest people AND the douche who thinks he is God.

Most of those people that hate Jordan still associate him with r3v, so therefore they also hate r3v.

Not really. I find it to be fairly ugly and plastic looking, and the wheels are way too big. The engine also isn't really anything special; he's just repeating a tried and true method (stroke it, add cam, add chip yay).

I agree on monotone color... but it's quality work done all by himself.... it looks, drives.. etc. way, way better in person! and the sound ohhh.... i can't describe it!

not trying to take anyones side but instead of trying to come cry to people on r3v you should work out your troubles with jordan. exactly. people need to realize that this is an internet forum, nothing more, and everyone has the freedom to say watever the hell they want to. Ever since I've been around the e30 scene I do have to say that Jordan has come off as harsh, but who cares. He knows a lot about e30s, and to add to that I do have to say over on bF.c he has not been an ass as much as before.
