    Its a fake, for sure.

They didnt put US bumpers on federalized cars they reinforced the european bumpers because they lacked the provisions for the shock absorbers and there is no way theyd go through all that to put those bumpers in.

That car is as fake as mine, just has more stuff on it (some of that being fake also).

I wouldn't touch that car. Fortunately, it sounds like that is the concensus.

Yeah that's true, I kinda thought of that, but I figure they would fill the holes or something...

Theory: they put the holes in ALL of the cars to make manufacturing more easy.

Don't really know, never seen a closeup of the euro-bumper setup like that.

Hey does this look a bit strange to anyone???

Why are these holes there? Did the euro bumpers not come standard?

Not only is it real but you cant have it. Its the only good thing about Canadia. They got a lot of cars we didnt, sadly you would be raked over the coals trying to bring it into the states still.

Driving that car agressively would be like hate-fucking Christina Aguleria, in the back of your mind you know you shouldnt be but its really what she deserves.

No engine shots but if anyone is really interested I can go take some for you.

The windows work and the dealer is replacing the ignition switch.

At this point after talking with the dealer again I won't be trying to buy this car. He told me what he had been offered and it is above what I would be will to pay for it in it's current condition. I really hope someone picks this car up and puts it back to origional.

The dealer did say he has paper work to prove the mileage and a few spare parts to go along with it. So if anyone on here would like me to go get more info about the car just let me know.

    Thaks for the help all.
    John

I am familiar with the car in question as it sold several times here in California about 2.5 years ago. The car is a real B6 2.8, however this makes the replacement of the real Alpina bits i.e. wheels with kopis un excusable as it had real Alpina's on it when it was for sale in California. Also the Alpina hood emblems and sewn on Alpina patches on the seats are incorrect and tacky. As far as price that is for the potential buyer to determine but I would thoroughly inspect the car as I remember the previous owner telling me it had been converted from its original l-jet spec over to mototronic injection which always seemed odd to me.
