That's great. .001% of H2 owners won't get stuck when they take their car off-road.
Would me welding spikes to my roof at h2 windshield level be any more unethical than the bars and shit on the front end?

In fact, the front third of the new Hummer is all 34-ton Suburban: driveshaft, axle, frame, suspension, brakes, A-arms, etc. Out back, the H2 also uses the same 2500 Suburban (14-bolt) solid rear axle
Dash and displays are straight out of the Silverado HD pickups, with a few Aztek air vents thrown in for cost saving.
It's a glorified SUBURBAN with worked over suspension and the leftovers from a Silverado inside "for cost saving". GM did nothing more than take the strongest suspension bits from their other lines of SUV's (making it 10x heavier than the Suburban), slap them all together under a body that looks like a shoebox, and charge more for it.

Thank you. I'll bet you anything that out of the 25 dozen of these things you see being driven down the road everyday by little 5-foot-nothing blondes, you might see ONE that actually has any dirt or mud on it, and the puddle coming out of the Starbuck's drive-through doesn't count.

I shadowlined all the trim on the car myself.

quite crying about H2s, I can just imagine when the euro SMART car drivers over here feel like when they see one hahahahhahahahah!!!!
H2s are awesome, people who dont like them are just wishing they had one!

actually they're quite filthy for the most part. the wheels are NEVER cleaned and the interiors are full of spilled coffee and dog hair from some 5 lb rat.

eurospeed - you are right, and wrong. Take a stock Yukon/suburban/denali/tahoe and put it against my H2 off road. No contest - the H2 will stomp it. I saved the penny's for the H2 SUT, and I bought it because it is what I wanted. Here are some pics of some of a group I belong to.

That said the H2 can not do everything off road - a Jeep rubi is probably the best stock off road truck you can get right now.

Trashcop: Thanks for the spikes, I will be watching for them. They are for brush, not cars. Get mad at a Semi - their bumper is as big as an e30. Why the hate? I will not try to convert you, just listen.

One cool thing that I am getting involved in is the Red Cross Hummer relief team...but you would not want me to go on and on about that.

At least when someone drives a semi they have to take additional driving courses. It scares the shit out of me thinking of some stupid bitch barreling down the road in her over 6000lb vehicle(h2,sub,tahoe,excursion,expedition,all the unnecessary vehicles) yapping on her phone while putting on makeup with her bitch ass kids in the back screaming, say goodbye to your life. I don't think people should have the right to put other civilians in such a dangerous situation.

Fair enough. I see what you are talking about. I would apply that to any driver, not just SUV drivers. It is sad that Hummer got the image of that...I know that was not the intent.

Around here I am the only H2 for miles...they are not common at all. When I go into the cities - that is all I see...well that and cabs.

On a side note: My wife will not even drive my H2...and not because I would not let her. But because she feels like she is driving a mountain around.

Didn't BMW just make fun of the H2 in one of there commercials? I only caught half of it and it had a H2 body that fell off or something and showed a 3/4 ton truck under the H2 body. Don't get me wrong I like SUVs and wish i had a 78 dodge ramcharger with a 440 in it.

unless you live on a damn farm or are towing a huge boat, you do not need a giant gas sucking suv or truck...........unless your penis is tiny.

And if you live in the mountains/snow get a jeep.

At the tire store where I used to work, we always had this guy come in with his '05 F350 Powerstroke... Lifted, HUGE tires on 20 inch wheels, silly ass paint job, and the guy who drove it was about 5' tall. I'm not gonna say that he had a little penis, but... he was seriously 5' tall.

JDM - Ignore them. They don't live in the NH/VT/ME area. There is more than enough reason's in this area to warrant an H2.
Also, the stereotypes everyone is throwing out is primarily that... stereotypes by young uneducated and irresponsible "little kids."

I'm sure 12 years ago (all things being equal) if I came home with our Ford F150 5.4l 7700 people would claim it was overkill too.

Mikeelder- Damn, you mean I shouldn't list every car in my whole family to be an e-baller? Shiiit, I must have missed that memo while I was playing PS3 and pretending to be awesomer (yes, awesomer) than everyone else... I think living vicariously through the others in your life is the way to be. ;)

Julien - If you think the new RR Sport makes you "not-gay"... good god man, go back to France. Buy a Defender or a Rubicon if you want to be "not-gay" or a 2500HD with an Alison tranny. X5's, Ranges, Acuras, etc. are all metro-fucking sexual boulevard cruisers. That being said, I'd drive either an X5 or Range for a daily as its comfortable/posh/and it can tow what I need it to.
