Thank you for the kind words regarding the wagon :) I love her, but there is no denying she weighs 2 tons and is a slushie - not a good track car do these two realities make. My wife is going to drive her as soon I as get my E30 (I've already struck a deal - I'm just waiting to take delivery).
mtechnik - I do use Pinnacle Souveran - it works really well on dark colored cars :)
Anyway, here are a few more pics...

Jurassic 5 is, in my opinion, the absolute best in Rap/hip-hop music today.
Mark 7 is one of the rappers...he rips, too. Interesting, funky, kinda smokey voice, excellent flow. One of the most creative rap groups in history, IMO.
Obviously, since your SN is the same as his I ASSUMED you were a fan.
Oh well, we all know "The Power of Assume", right?
Welcome to R3V, although bringing such a sweet touring in here kinda makes lots of us look really really bad.

Hey Luke, thank you for clearing that up the J5 thing - 'german g' posted the group name so I searched the web and found some info. I'm not really into rap or hip hop but I'll take your word for it that J5 rip. As for my username, my name is Mark and seven is a good number, so I played on the Lincoln MKVII thing and came up with markseven. That was eight years ago (later on in was cool to find the biblical relation).Jurassic 5 is, in my opinion, the absolute best in Rap/hip-hop music today.

I drove an E30 for the first time not too long ago and had so much fun behind the wheel that it's not even funny. Nimble, agile, pure (no DSC), direct and light... I've seen pics of r3v member's rides and I would love to own a lot of them. I've had E30s as wallpaper on my work machine for years. It's funny how the 'grass is greener on the other side' :D Also, it seems that you guys know your stuff, enjoy your cars and drive them like they are meant to be driven - that is some thing to be very proud of.

The look isn't what I wanted, but the drive train is stellar so I went ahead with the deal. I feel like a juvenile delinquent driving her, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing. This is by far the funnest car I've owned - even better than my 94 RX-7

DUde you have the most desireable Cali plate out there. I still have my original plate that has that design. Im thinking of getting a PP with the numbers it came with so I can put it back on. I like it.

Yup, I'm in OC. How familiar are you with Bullet? I bought the car from one of their techs :pimp: Are you in SoCal?
Mariano, the plate is pretty bad shape - most of the letters and numbers are faded and the white has become gray. Is there anyway to restore license plates?Originally posted by CleanAzzE30zDUde you have the most desireable Cali plate out there. I still have my original plate that has that design. Thanks, sdcabrio - your cars look great, too. There something about sport pack tourings that just plain rocks, ya know? :DOriginally posted by sdcabrioNice touring, people love 'em or they just don't understand. Nice choice in rims, I'm running the same BBS RK's on mine right now.
From what I can see your e30 looks like its got some serious potential.
Welcome aboard.I Timothy 2:1-2Comment

Well, I washed the little sled yesterday, and decided this would be a good time to formally introduce her to you guys. She is a 1987 325is with about 20K on a rebuilt motor and gearbox. One of the techs at Bullet Perfpormance in Costa Mesa owned her for nine years and performed the rebuild and all mods/maintenance (obviously).
This car isn’t really what I was looking for in an E30. I wanted something completely stock – something I could use to learn how to drive with and incrementally improve the suspension and drivetrain as my skill increased. I’m not a fan of the boy-racer look, but the fact that the car was owned and maintained by a BMW Master Technician swayed me. Not just any tech, mind you; I’ve had an excellent relationship with the guys at Bullet and have a great deal of respect for their abilities and trust in their character. Travis has done an excellent job with the car.
She runs like a top and is thee absolute most fun car I have ever driven. All of the E36s’ I’ve driven were sluggish in comparison. This is the car I should have bought years ago.
Here’s what I got for $5150:
Jim Conforti chip
Lightened aluminum flywheel – 14#
New clutch
4.10 dif
E36 SSK
Sparco STB
Bilsteins front shocks
Koni rear shocks
H&R Springs
Racing Dynamics sways - 22mm front / 19mm rear
M3 camber bushings
Dinan 3degree camber plates
SS brake lines
Drilled rotors
Porterfield R45 pads
BMP Designs body kit
BMW M-tech spoiler
Momo wheel
Sparco shifter knob
M3 (E36 style) mirrors
E30 M3 interior (+ rear view mirror)
Alpine XM ready CD player with associated XM stuff
Schroth harness
TSW Hockenheims 7.5 x 16 (for sale – make me an offer)
The new rims are Rota Slipstreams 8 x 16 et25 with Kumho Ecsta SPT 205/50/16.
Praise the Lord
