    Maaco supreme

ok so after paying my most recent of tuition bills Ive realized thats its not in my best interest to pursue buying another car. However, the pathfinder that I have now cosmetically isnt in the best of shape. The front bumper and the very front two inches of the right front fender were involved in a minor fender bender last summer. Also the right rear corner of my bumper is a lil out of whack due to my sis trying to learn stick when it was my dads car. Also the paint is in dire need of a respray (the paint waxes to a brand new shine but there are millions of not so apparent as well as many very apparents scratches.

Ill post pics of the damage tomorrow but I was wondering, this cars got 212k, and while it does have a brand new motor with only 40k on it Im not planning on making this a showroom beauty, I jsut want something respectable. I was thinking Maaco, not their shoddy 299 service but the top of the line would be the way to go. Its relatively cheap and on a car as old as mine seems like the way to go. Should I just bring my car there, drop the thousand or so bucks itll cost to fix and be happy or is it not really worth my time and money. Remember Im not looking for a brand new look, just something to make the car look decent

Save up for a new car. A paint job isn't going to do much for a 212k pathfinder.

It's a college car, you're gonna fuck it up more than it is already. Leave it be, it adds character.

Swing wild, brake later, don't apologize.

waste of money.. is anyone really going to care what your pathfinder looks like? you should take it out in the mud or something and get it all dirty so it looks like you damaged it while of roading.

How long do you plan on keeping the car?

A $700 paint job, will last about 3-5years. it will then crack, peal, and chip off.

A real quality paint job starts around $3000.

Don´t put money into something that´s you will give or trough away later,

those $1000 can be put into quite a number of parts for your pathfinder
wich will make it last even longer,

if you want you can just buff the paint yourself, don´t go any further than that
