You're going to have to pay somebody for the storage of nearly 15,000 pictures plus the bandwidth to view them and your website. I'm not aware of any way $50 a year can be beat for that. -
So who has an alternative spot rather than flickr. I've only got 14692 pics on there that are mostly going to be wiped out. I can't justify spending $ on a place to park pics so I can link them elsewhere when I can build my own site and host them for the same if not less. (Now to figure out how to build my own site...)
Yeah I'm not at all happy about this. I've shared thousands of pics in dozens of places that are all going to vanish. Epic fail.

I think it was $50, with a one-time 30% discount if you sign up before the end of the month so ~$3/month for the first yearLeave a comment:

After a bit of reading, $24.99 is apparently only grandfathered Pro account pricing. I've had a Pro account for several years now, so when it came up for renewal in July that's what I paid.
I'm guessing my renewal rate will go up next year.Leave a comment:

*makes another free gmail account
*makes another free 1,000 photo flickr account
*repeat as necessary
i've been uploading hobby photography to my flickr account for 5 years. i'm only at 600 photos. the interface seems terrible for sharing across internet forums, so I've used imgur for that since the death of imageshack and photobucket.Leave a comment:

I have fortunately had a Pro account since 2012 but thanks for the heads-up - pretty lame of them.Leave a comment:

I have a few thousand pictures on flickr + I updated every build thread by replacing the broken PB links with Flickr links..
I guess it might be time to give in and pay for the subscription..Leave a comment:
