My brother-in-law thinks I'm completely nuts and does not understand or like the car, which is prolly a good indicator that I did the right thing :p
BTW, you have any pics posted of your race car?

I'm 41.75. Love this thread. I'll have to remember that "What? Do I owe you money?" thing. :giggle:
I'm sure nobody knows what to think when they see my car in it's current state. Mismatched fenders, black wheels, lowered to the ground, noisy exhaust, bad clearcoat and giant numbers on the doors. And a supposedly mature adult behind the wheel with thinning hair. :loco: I know the neighbors think I'm nuts, but they are used to the parade of projects in/out of my garage.
Kids will dig it. Adults will hate it. I don't give a hoot what some 20 year old bimbo with painted nails thinks. I doubt banging her would be as much fun as taking the first lap of a Spec E30 race. Sure wouldn't last as long. :nice:Leave a comment:

I'm 36, so I can relate to you, Luke. I come home from work, eat dinner and then split with the 325 just to go drive... can't say I would do that with an E60, E63, E85 or E90. Who cares what the 'adults' think as long as you are not wasting time driving something that has no soul...Leave a comment:

Personally, if i saw an older gentleman step out of a modded e30, i would start up a conversation with him, absorb all his wisdom, then give him mad props as well as the R3V url. e30 for life.Leave a comment:

You know, that is a DAMN good point. I hated the stuck up pricks that wore Oakleys and drove BMW's...now that is exactly what I do.
SHIT! I hate ME!
Nah...these are sweet old cars. Just love it. Not for the sake of " I drive a BMW", but for the fun, quick, cute (cheap) little thing that it is.

Well Etta James has been making hits since the early 60's, while she was on H, then cleaned up and made music with BB King, Mick Taylor, etc in the 80's and beyond. Shes a staple to us oldie-loving gangsters like Tammi Terrell, and Mary Wells. :)
