Wont taking tar out of the trunk and not countering that loss of weight with the front effect overstear?

probably...thats why i opted to take out cabin tar and sound deadening from the transmission tunnel and interioir bits. all in relatively the middle of the car. Once i get a lighter hood, then i will dump trunk tar.

I removed the tar from the trunk and under the rear seat and it weighed in around 55 - 60 lbs. Brakes, tune-up, cooling system, have all been done recently, the cooling system the most recently of all because of an issue I had driving back from Bav Auto... I'll probably start cleaning up the engine bay and see where that leads, I slept a lot longer than I planned on so there's less daylight then I figured... I really appreciate the ideas guys, keep 'em coming!

              Thanks,
              Brendan

I'll have to black it out with tape and see what I think I guess. Could be a fun project...:D

I'd definately do tape first. I painted mine black and didn't really care for it. I had a set of chrome grills though so I just switched it back.
