Well I just found out yesterday that one of my lowbeams is cracked in two places...damn high driving. So today I was thinking how to protect them, then I thought about those DTM cars and the ones on the tracks with like covers on them! Or so I think they're covers :). Where do you think I could get a pair of thoseo :D. In the summer I might replace the head lights with euro ellips most likely. But in the mean time I'd like to get some head light covers for driving on the highway; later on I could use em on the ellips to protect them also :). It was a Hella H4 light I cracked if you wanted to know...
Head light covers?

why not? you can't tell they're there unless you look REALLY carefully, and they protect damn well.Originally posted by MikesJoYou mean those adhesive things? Nah don't want those. Franz where do you get them from?My mountains are better than yours.Comment

The only option besides the 3M stick-on protectors are those huge nasty plastic 'cups' that go over the lights. I've heard that they yellow very fast too.
*There is a single Hella H4 on eBay right now* You could pick it up for less than a set of the protectors.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

it's not visible at all, and it will protect your lights from getting smashed and pitted.Originally posted by MikesJoYou mean those adhesive things? Nah don't want those. Franz where do you get them from?Comment

The M3 had the plastic cups installed on the lights when i bought it and have since switched to head light film (I'm using Griot's, the same as 3M, just thinner but protects the same)
If you want the cups, i'll see if i still have them in the garage somewhere, pay shipping and they are yours.Chris

yeah.. that's the 3m product we were talking about. :)Originally posted by Saul325isGet a product called Stone Guard. They are the shiznitz and I think they are 40 bucks for your 2 low beams and 2 high beams.

I know there's 3m protect stuff but those cup things look sooo cool :). And I don't know how well the 3m stuff would protect against big rocks cause the light got really smashed, well cracked. I don't intend on replacing the light w/ another H4 but rather will wait till summer and stick in some ellips hopefully.
Cramer do you have pics of these cups? :) Thanks!Comment

If you're basing it on the pics in a catalog, they are deceiving. I have seen them in person, and "cool" is definitely not how I would describe them.
