I use www.tiora.net for my hosting
Like $8/month for 4GB transfer.
They're the company that hosts we-todd-did-racing too I thinkMy mountains are better than yours. -
Also check out Macromedia Dreamweavers 30 day trial for the page design. It doesnt put all the proprietary crap in like Frontpage but is still pretty easy to use.Im now E30less.

web design sucks. I'm so glad I'm not in that buisiness anymore. :)
knowing HTML is becomming less and less important these days, but it is helpful. I preffer to do all my work by hand in Homesite, I don't think many serious web designers still use notepad. frontpage is crap, I'm not fond of dreamweaver either but if you must use a WYSIWYG editor, then use dreamweaver..Comment

i use frontpage, its pretty simple, but it can be frustrating sometimes.

I know the owner of http://parabolastudios.com - really good prices. Tell them Sean Hayes referred you. ;)
I make all my websites in Edit Plus and Graphics in Photoshop 5.5. Programs are for people that are too lazy to do the actual work. ;) :P- Sean HayesComment

If you don't know jack squat about web designing, then use a WYSIWYG editor like FrontPage. People who are more advanced (like my girlfriend, who hardcodes all the pages she designs, including mine) obviously look down on it, but for beginners it's actually a pretty good tool. But the most simplest software I've ever seen are the ones used by AOL and Geocities because it's straight point and click.Comment

Agreed. ;) I just find it funny that some people that have made websites for a long time are still using programs.Originally posted by FredIf you don't know jack squat about web designing, then use a WYSIWYG editor like FrontPage. I do Graphic and Media Design for a living. Depending
on what you want, I can probably set up everything
for you (Pages, Graphics, Domain, Hosting) for relatively
cheap. If your serious, hit me up on AIM.
I've never used them, but I hear nothing but greatI use www.tiora.net for my hosting
