    Nights Auto Parts on eBay

Does anyone have any experience with Nights Auto Parts and their eBay store front?

    I'm looking specifically at the F/R Brembo E30 drilled rotors for $135 +$47 s&h.

    TIA,
    Mark

dont get drilled, get slotted or blanks, do a search for why. also many ebay brembo rotors are fakes or are drilled after they leave brembo which is risky.

Mark, before you buy there, try my favorite AP store in the world. They are in Portland www.discountimportparts.com is their site. OE quality, they import everything they carry. Quick shipping, amazing prices.

Oh yeah, the holes in rotors are for: 1. Mounting the rotor. 2. The hub. Any other holes are bad, and should not happen.

If you saw what my Zimmermann drilled rotors looked like, or felt how poorly they work, you would never consider using them.

          BTW, PO installed them. NMF.

          Closing SOON!

Hey Luke, it looks like DIP's online catalog is down right now, so I'll call them on Monday - thanks for the info. I doubt I would notice the reduction in brake performance with drilled rotors. The fact is I'm a relatively sedate driver on the street and could run stock brakes on the track and never need anything more (at this point in time and prolly for the next year or so depending on how many HPDEs I attend).

Just curious, why do Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Aston Martin, etc. all offer drilled but not slotted? Just aesthetics? Maybe, but I would like to think that form follows function with the aftermarket industry but StopTech, Brembo, AP, Willwood, etc all offer drilled rotors.

Yeah bro, I saw that - the cost is $150+ more than the eBay guys... but I would have piece of mind with the BF GB vs the eBay stores... wife is already pissed that I got new rims for the car and now rotors... decisions, decisions!

i had zimmerman cross drilleds on my e36 and i wasnt really that impressed, the holes clogged with brake dust quickly and i always had some fade, kind of annoying especially when i was runnin back roads. im gonna get slotteds this time round and see how they go. for the price im for sure getting brembos. its brakes man!! the one department you shouldnt skimp on!!

Mark, that "coming soon" crap has been on there since '03. I should have mentioned that you need to call them. They close at 4:00 pacific today, so call now.

                  They are really terrific.

Luke, I just called them - $230 for a set of F & R drilled, plus shipping. Turner has a brake package that can be custom ordered with drilled and Axxis Ultimates for $285 plus S&H but that comes with wear sensors, rotor retaining screws and a liter of brake fluid. Seeing as how I have a $70 credit with TMS, that may be the route I take. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback/insight :)
