josh - not too many vip cars, extreme was more of a street car/EXTREME car show. there were as a chevy avalanche with an alligator skinned and placed in the bed. kinda crazy.

808 - we've been acquaintances on the boards since e3s and i still don't know your name. i haven't hooked up with her, shes old fashioned so gotta take things slow.

for all you haters - keep it coming, you're making us famous

and the supporters - thanks mucho, i do this for you.

It might come as a shock to some of you, but a lot of people that have modded cars actually DO other things than mod their cars, and actually DO go outside and recreate. In fact, I myself enjoy snowboarding quite frequently in the winter months!
thats true and i understand their function. but they are removeable and you cant tell me those guys arent running them because they think they look cool. they look like shit. i just dont get it especially at a car show

Except in this case I'd say its just a spin off of the aircooled VW fad - for years the old aircooleds would show up with chrome luggage racks loaded up with period shit.

The watercooled VW guys started doing it and it spread to the Mk4s and other newer foreign show cars at the big multi-marque shows. Now its cool to load up your rack with tons of useless shit that can fit in your trunk (which the aircooleds didn't have - hence the racks).
