Late Tails M3?

Has anyone ever chopped the late tails on an m3 just to see how it'd look like? I prefer early style tails over late but I just wanted to see how it'd turn out.

I remember seeing a yello/white e30 that appeared to be an e30 M3 with late tails... didnt look right.

^ Yea, it was Alpine. And no the tails werent photoshopped, they where really there. Ugly.

There was a diamond black M3 at a SpecE30 race at VIR a couple years ago with late-model tails/panel fitted--it was pretty nasty.

Yeah it looked odd. There was one from Germany with airbrushing and shit all over it posted a few years back.

Oh ok, I thought maybe it was just a regular E30 with fender flares... do you have any pics of the car? I'm curious to see what an m3 looks like with the big tails.

I actually can't stand the skinny early tails on anything and have considered swapping late tails onto an M3 (if I was ever to own one) long before Mike Edler posted this pic from Germany .
