Why didn't you paint the exhaust manifolds? Is this the same head that you were very unhappy with and did you have anything else done to fix what was wrong?

Looks great though. Gotta admire your aspiration for cleanliness - gonna hurt to see it dirty after a couple weeks of driving, I'm sure.

The exhuast manifolds are only temporary, and even if i painted them the rust will just eat to the surface again.

Yes its the same head, I tore it down, and did a port/polish on it. Its great now.

I will pressure wash the engine bay often, that will keep it plenty clean. I dont have to worry about grease and grime as the engine is all resealed.

I am going to sneak out to Corvailis and bring a bunch of Q-tips and dip them in motor oil... then stick them in obscure places in your engine bay...

What was, dodge colt? - I think it was rabbit body with a dodge 4 banger - you had to drop the engine a few inches to change the plugs....

Interesting, I had no clue and didnt bother looking to see. I need to get a new alternator.
