    Intakes make cool noises, and that's about it.

      i mounted mine in the HVAC panel. i only have hazzard switch and rear defrost so i moved both those switches to the left side and mounted the display next to them in the right 2 spots. works perfect. have the v1 hardwired above the right side of the rear view under the check panel. fits perfect.

        It's funny, I had the exact same plan although my Bel is currently on the left side of my rear view for better visibility from the drivers seat. My only concern is I have some stupid red LED in one of those panels that I think has something to do with my alarm system, which has not been used in years. I figure I could mount that elsewhere...

        Was it hard to get the display in that spot and do you ever need to see your actual V1 once that's mounted or can you leave it tucked above your tint, out of sight of prying officer's eyes? In short, do you have any pictures of your setup seeing as I think it's exactly what I had in mind?
