I'd be tracking that car. It was ment to be driven.
josh, I could not disagree more. Keeping that thing pristine in a world full of tracked M3s is even more important. That car is too rare to do anything to. At least in my opinion.

I totally see your point...that's why I'd have to have two of them.

Don't take this the wrong way Luke-et-all but it's JUST an M3, saying its "too rare to drive" is rather silly. It's a CAR. Sure, the M3 was groundbreaking, but there are already plenty of them in museums no doubt, this one would be driven like a red-headed stepchild if it were mine, just like EVERY new and used vehicle that's been in my hands. That's not to say ABUSED, quite contrary - just driven at or near it's limits from time to time to remind it who is boss ;)
Before the "jealousy" comments start, I love the M3, but I didn't intend to put this much money into my e30 325is, or I could/would have bought one (and probably should have). At this point I have more into my stupid little 3 series (that I love to death) than my GF does in her Boxster, so don't even start thinking "he just wishes he had one" - DO I? Yes, but that's not the point. It's just that it's "only" a car, and a decent-but-not-showroom-perfect one, so why not just ENJOY it??

Quoted for TRUTH.
What's the point of owning it if you're not going to drive it? So you can sit in your garage with a glass of wine looking at it, fantasizing about how much fun it would be to drive it?
I would have to agree that I would definitely drive it...a lot. But also to agree with Luke, I wouldn't track a car in that good of shape - just drive the piss out of it in it's current state. :)
Beautiful car. Over at Unofficial BMW there was a post about another, heavily modded M3 with 47k miles going for $28k. I thought that one was overpriced, but this one is worth every penny.
If I owned that car, I'd drive it during the sunny seasons and put it away in the winter. Unless I lived in SoCal (are you listening Mariano) where it's nice everyday and it's not gray all the time and you're not freezing your nuts off! Then I'd drive it all the time. :p
And I would never track that car. If I had $32,000 to spend on a nearly 20 year old car, I'd buy a 318is and drop an S52 in it and track that.
