    I totally agree. However, one with that few miles should be driven, not tracked.

    Flog the thing well, but don't cut it up into a track car.

        It is definately a good investment, only if he plans to drive it minimally and keep up maintenance cycles. Since he has another one, there is really no need to drive this one much. In 10 years (with same mileage) it will be worth 40K at least, possibly 50K.

          The thing is, most E30 M3s are driven hard. Very, very few are sitting in museums. I like seeing 99% of them driven, but I'd like to see 1% "on the shelf" so there is something to look at in another 30 years.

          Put it this way, on the very rare occasion you get to see a pre-war 328 in person, (and after getting your woodie under control) aren't you glad a couple of them did not end up in the crusher during the 1950s, 60s or 70s? The 328 was the E30 M3 of it's era, BTW. In fact, even more dominant in it's time then the E30 M3 was as a race car.
