    rear-ended in M3ryan's cabbie...advice?

As some of you know - M3 Ryan and I were rear-ender in his mtech-2 cabbie a few days ago - We are both alive and kicking, but sore and pissed. The Cabbie is fixable($4k? 5k?) And will look beter than ever after all is done.

After the accident it was all I could do to pull the car to the side of the road - and then get myself out as I fell out of the car. that night my neck hurt a bit, where It impacted the head rest. Today - it kills - on the front of my neck.

I need advice - it feels like it will go away with time, but I'm worried that it might not.

Yea, the easy answer is to go to the doc - it's not a easy choice for me - I'm moving in a few days, and cant cover the cost till insurance covers it.

    Urrrrr - neck sore - I'm broke - I'm kinda screwed.

WTF?? AGAIN???? Damn, I'm glad you guys are alright. I think you'll be alright as long as you're just sore...just takes time. Maybe a month if it's severe enough. Get yourself one of those neckbraces and take it easy. Perhaps get some massages. What the heck happened???

Nope - not a re-post. Mtech-2 white cabbies are cursed.

We got hit hard (my first accident ever - so what do I know?) the cabbie will be back - and is fixable. You know ryan - he is the man - cabbie will be back with flared fenders - total body make over. LOL.

but it was a very hard hit - puntted us down the road 9 or 10 car lenths. When I finally looked at the trunk - I could not believe that much of an inpact cause that little damage on the bimmer(god bless you)

The car that hit us was done - front clip was not there - pissing fluid, Hood and fenders gone. (not to mention the drivers expired driver licenes - shady proof of insurance, and did'nt speak a lick of english)-

Funneyest part was - The fire truck guys kept looking around and finallly said "dame you car is strong" - heard another guy say "never seen that shit'

The whole ordeal was bad. 2 fire trucks - and a lot of EMT guys later - we were able to leave.

          Think ryan is only posting on e30 tech recently - I'll post up pic some day - not a "bad" wreck -but fucked the hell out of my neck. Not sure if going to the doc is the right thing or to wait it out.;

          Can't sleep -

          ....

I know how he feels... I got rear ended about 2 months ago... thought the car was finished... but when I checked it, it wasn't that bad, the car the drove into me (Opel Corsa LDV) was finished.

I went to the chiropractor after my accident... and she clicked me back in place, and I was perfect, but b4 that. I was in serious pain, couldnt move my neck otherwise it would hurt.

go to the doc, check with attorney on contacting other parties insurance, the other party should cover costs of anything medical.

i got rear ended two months ago, and havent had to pay a thing, i forward any questions about billing to my attorney and they sort it out. i didnt have neck damage but i do have damage to my rotator cuff and have to go to phys. therapy.

Go to Chiropractor. Lots of people poo-poo this as a fix, but it really does work for injuries such as these. Chiros aren't that expensive, if you do wind up having to pay for it. It was the only solution to fix the growing pain I had from a long-ago car injury, also to my neck and inclusive of my lower back.
