yeah if some one wants to make them i would be very interested in 1 or 2, as well as i'm sure many others would. my car is a hpi rs4 racer 2 that i bought used(stock). i have been upgrading everything to aluminum and cf. i got the 2 speed trans and a ported and polished hpi .15ss engine in it. it's alot of fun, the only thing is i keep wanting to go faster then all my friends. i keep buying and tearing down engines, using my dremel to open them up. kind of addicting like a real car, always wanna make it better.

If you were really smart, you would fill the inside of the shell with a suitable perm mold, and make many many vacuum tabled replicas of it. Given the harsh undercuts the model has tho, I do not see it possible to not destroy the original in the process, but then again.... who cares when you have a endless supply of bodies?

you are kinda of smart and now it seems like you have a lot of time on your hands.....why dont you do it then?

I have a vacuum 1/12 scale body of an M3 but that doesn't do us squat good. I was looking for a 1/12 chassis for awhile for it so it's might for sale if some one wants it. Clear never painted. make reasonable offer.

Hmm... Jordan, you gave me an idea. We have a vacum former at my school that I could use and make a few. Now all I need is an origonal body...

Yes I know we will never see it, but one can dream of a warehouse full of these. But maybe someone has a few in Hong Kong as many knock offs come from there.

You want to risk having yours destroyed? Not me.

                            I search everywhere in HK.

                            Couldn't find anything.

however, I got the 24002 320i and the new release 24269 Jaegermeister 1/24 models.

The whole purpose of owning a tamiya body is the decals and the pieces that come with the body (ie the plastic mirrors, roof antenna, etc). Also, you would need to find a decal sheet for them.
Everyone who is suggesting making a replica needs to view one of those shells up close just to get an idea of the level of detail.

And no, they are lamin-x fogs.
Also, Tamiya959? Did you happen to buy a Ford Escort TA-01 about two years ago?

BTW: Gotta show off my car, ready for this years racing season. Who all is going racing this year?

One more after digging through my pics.
Who has a nitrors4 here? Check out my old one. Notice anything different? LOL

No, but I did buy a Ford F150 Pre-Runner TA-01 about 2 years ago (maybe longer) for my kids to play with.
