Got E30 FREE "Story Inside"

Hey today I was at a shell gas station in houston, Tx.

This Japanese guys is admiring my sweet 86 eta "stock red" I keeps it clean hehe. Anyways he comes over to me and no offense but he starts speaking broken english, like you like BMW?

I am like yea I like them I have two. He then says Ihe has an 87 325i just like my 4 door.

the e30 has been sitting in his yard for 2 years and asks if I would like it. I said shit yea if the price is right. He goes on to say free! I say huh???

He said he didn't want it anymore he has title and he is willing to give it to me free if I can bring something to tow it or start it to take it away.

I take down his number and address and told him I will be there monday. That just amazes me, that someone is giving me a free E30 weather it runs or not. I will part it if it doesn't. Once I pick it up I will post pics and everything.

Racing Dynamics rear apron ( $325 new or $ 200 painted from a parted car) for early aluminum bumpers,it also fits plastic bumpers. no sideskirts on her, just thicker iC rocker panels.

like the bike I picked up off the left lane on the 101 last Saturday., everyone had come to a full stop by then, so i walked over, threw it in my back seat and on my way I went.

Funny since just finish my ride, was doing 80 and driving with my knees while i opened a powerbar, cheezus, everyones brake lights came on, I slam on the brakes too, finally the SUV in front of me moved away and there it was, a 4g rig (way back in 97), already had my own bike on the back seat, so piling this thing on took some maneuvering and removal of wheels. hahaha, all while in the left lane.

no one honked, guess they were happy that someone took that thing out of the way.
