Yea, he bought a set of lights from me. He payed with a check that was higher than my asking price ($250,000) I sent him the lights and the change but I never heard from him again.

Scott, did you get the wire transfer for $249,800.00 ???? The bank has been calling non-stop.

He probably has run into some problems and hasn't got back on track yet. I doubt that he has gone to the dark side. Hopefully he will figure out a way to make amends and contact the people that he owes.

I had to drive to his garage to find my parts that I paid for.
Then a good number of them weren't even there.
I never filed a paypal claim, although I wish I had.

This is the 2nd time I've had problems with Scott, BMW's, and money. I'm done.

I had to order the remaining parts from another forum member. Who despite being across the country still got me my parts faster than Scott who is 1.5 hours away. Thanks Dave!

I emaild him yesterday and got a reply today. He's fine. Not sure about his business though, so try again I guess.

That was a few weeks ago that Wells reached him.

In any event, I am trying to reach him to see if this can be resolved. He owes me nothing, but I know he is a good guy who for whatever reason has let things get over his head.

Yeah, I did that Dave and he told me then he'd be logging on and trying to clear things up. Honestly I don't understand what's going on here, but it looks like he's digging (or has already dug) quite a hole for himself. I'd really like to see him clear all this mess up, it just doesn't look good.

I will email him again and encourage him to do just that.

I hate to say it, but I don't see a happy end in sight for this. From what I've read, Bobby did manage to get in contact via email with him a few weeks back. He knows about the situation, told Bobby that supposedly he's doing fine, and still hasn't done anything to rectify it. I hope he doesn't expect to be able to just show back up here and smooth things over. He's screwed a lot of people, and a lot of long time members out of a lot of parts and money, including moderators and one of our owners. I may not know the full story here, but I know that it seems like nothing is being done on his part to fix this.
