My Spring Break (56K, maybe not)

My spring break just endede, here's what I did to my car:

Painted the needles on my cluster and broke the temperature gauge needle

Installed a switch to control when the antenna goes up. I know my radio doesn't match, don't tell me about it, I regret it to no end.

Washed and waxed my car and took some pretty pictures. I can't wait to lower her

Hey, im really interested in the antenna switch, what wires did you use ect ect. Mine dosent go up at all. I know the motor works because when I connect the battery I hear it. I think they messed up the job when they installed the unit. Thanks a ton.

That wax job looks really nice, I like the pin stripe to. Cool car.

2 more questions, whats that extra button for on there, and what kinda paint did you use? thanks dude.

Yeah, the light is functional. All I did is put the switch on the wire going from the radio to the antenna so if I have the switch open when the radio comes on, the antenna never goes up. If I want to listen to radio instead of CD I just flip the switch and the antenna goes up. Werksmini, it's a LED, not an extra button. I used Testor's bright red gloss spray paint for the needles. I bought it at a hobby store

I'm doing the switch soon too. I'm going to take out my fader and I have a foglight switch to take its place. I think it'll look very OEM. I just have to wait for Clarion to ship the special removal keys so I can pull my deck out. I plan on using wiretap connectors for the connection to the antenna power.

I'm not worried about the "flaming", I know they're not real mods, it's just trivial stuff I wanted to do with the free time I had during break. I got the german flag on the grill from ebay but you can get the same thing at www.detailhaus.com
