    help needed

hi there, i own a 1984 318i, i was told that i need to find a e21/320/4cyl or a 2002-->79 2002. Iwas told i can use the crank and pistons from carburated engine so i can stroke my engine to almost 2 litres. any help? can i buy these parts new? if so where? and is it just called the crank or what would i call it on a search engine?
    thanks

I'm not sure what your saying. You want to build a stroker motor? Do you have a plan as to what parts you need, and just don't know where to get them? Or don't know what parts are needed to create a stroker motor?

I don't know a damn thing about M10's, but from what I understand:

The m10 isn't ideal for cheap power. 2 liters and all that work won't give you anywhere near the power of a stock m20b25 from a 86-91 325i.

But like I said, the m10 isn't exactly my specialty, hopefully someone else chimes in.

    Some parts places:

yep, sell it and buy a 325i, unless you want to turbo to really find any usable power.
but, yes, I know there were early 2.0 ltr M10 4 cyl. here in germany, but its not going to bring any REAL power for you.- a max of 10-20 hp is pretty exagerated i would say.
