Hhahhahahhah, its so true, this is not the first time that someone assumed that drug sales had to do with my car... Some people have real jobs, instead of slangin them rocks.

Thanks, but lsb will be soon a thing in the past, but these forums have great information about technical issues on e30's and other cars.

I still might have to get a new piston or two, but luckily i have a hook up on parts for internals, for cost.

Sorry, im learning still about all this stuff, which is why this experience could have been worse, but it gave my friends and I a bunch of stuff to do, hanging out wrenchin', drinking heinekens and Becks and other assortments of good beers in my garage.

PS. didnt see this before about Mrs. Smurf being damn sexy, but thank you, i hope to make her a lot prettier in the near future, she needs to start tucking the rims, and get an oem rear bumper, dtm cup mirrors, some hella smoked headlights, shaved antenna on roof and relocate, and a few other mechanical things before she is perfect, i have a test pipe on this car right now, so its loud as HELL, so i want to throw in a hi-flo cat, glasspack. But other then that, the project that i bought is rounding completion... My last step to this car, will be another set of rims(never selling the RN's by the way, in case people inquire), and a respray, i just hate looking at this car, and knowing that its still someone else's since Rui, had the first LSB e30, it will be always known as that, i am looking for something more subtle and classy.

Did the pistons bend your valves or was it the rocker arms?

I understand you over-r3ved the engine, but what exactly caused your valves to bend? I know that if a timing belt breaks on an 'interference' engine (interference meaning that when open, the valves extend into the combustion chamber), the valves are no longer synchronized with the crank/pistons and therefore the pistons move up and collide with open valves. Sometimes when engines are over r3ved, the valve springs aren't strong enough to keep the valves closed at super-high RPMs, causing them to 'float' open, an event that is detrimental to an interference engine.

Hope you get everything squared away with your ride - she looks awesome.

Okay, so what happened? The high revs caused valve float? How could the valve timing change to allow the pistons to mangle your valves?

its a curse because you dont have an S14. your car is trying to tell you something.
Want to donate me a E3 race motor, i mean, i would like to end the curse, just not at my own expense, some day i will have a turbo s14 in here...
