What exactly is a train wheel?

    Do trains have wheels?

Trains run on tracks right, but not the asphalt kind --- or am I wrong?

    Trains? And wheels? Train wheels?

    I'm so confused :x
uhh, trains definetly have wheels, unless you think they slide on skis or something..
    :nice: :loco:

Do you get a discount on the kit because you already have wheels and don't need the crudely photoshopped ones pictured?

Actually, body kits are modeled in Solid Works. This is an actual model used for production.

From there a two part mould is made with a CNC. In production the parts are vacuume formed then trimmed to fit by CNC.

I'll try to get some more real world part pictures next week.

                      Thanks for looking ;)

If I want to go fast at the track, I just swap in some light wheels with sticky tires. No problem.
Holy shit... 50lbs apiece... ever heard of "function before fashion"? Your acceleration and braking must: a. suck, b. suck, or c. refer to a or b.

                        Oh well, another dub-1 E30.

And you're going to need a lot more than light wheels and sticky tires to go fast at the track, "brotha."

                        :nice:

I know that is Solid Works, i said that I use Inventor, not that those parts were done with it. Solid Works is a lower application then Inventor on the totem pole of CAD software.

Definitely not for everyone but I like them and I'm hoping to gain some extra attention (good, bad, it doesn’t matter) to the car at BimmerFest. She will ideally be tucking when the front coilovers and camber kit installed.

They weigh about 50lbs each with rubber, so it is heavier. With the turbo it doesn't really matter much to me.

A genuine AutoVision Styling, ABS Plastic body kit is being installed next week. A very nice kit, and also available from GaugeCo.com or AutoVision Styling direct. Check it out for yourself at BimmerFest California, and Calgary.

Glad to hear you all like them 8) To each their own. I personally wouldn't be caught dead with 16" wheels off the track... but, that is just me. Not a bad style, just a different one.

As for brakes, I am planning for a big brake kit. For now I have a 7 series master cyl and booster.

Keep the flame coming guys. This is great stuff. :D
You definetly need a BBK... those brakes look tiny behind your 19s.
