    LA (freeways) suck....

Spent 4 hours on them yesterday, and all I can say is people in LA suck ass at driving.

    (sorry had to vent)

And sorry to all of you living in LA...that must be a bitch.

Sacramento is getting bad like that too (although unlike L.A. our traffic generally clears up after rush hour). Makes me sometimes wish I had an automatic tranny. I've actually thought about getting an early 318i or 325e (something cheap on gas)with an auto for the daily commute. Sure I'd get flamed by you guys, but if it makes the daily drive a little more bearable, and I could save my cabrio for the fun driving.

LA does suck ass for driving...all I have to say is stay away from the 210 and 10 during rush hour. They are horrible. What freeway were you stuck on?

And i'd have to say that most people in LA do suck at driving, but there are the select few that know what they are doing...hint hint.

It's really not a bad idea at all.... I definetly wouldn't flame someone with an slushbox for those reasons.

Yea, i was on the 10 for a while, and it was crazy cause it being late on sunday.

You know what I want, one of those loud speaker horns like the cops have so I can yell at people "Hey! Jack ass, stop throwing on you're breaks on the freeway, you SUV driving tard"

No really - I feel really sorry for anyone who has to put up with that BS day in and day out. Sure "you get use to it" - but it's still part of your dailly life - and that's the kind of thing that makes life suck...

Don't know about Sac too much, but much better drivers in SF actually, everyone actually tries to keep traffic moving...

i generally dont have to deal with traffic but sunday afternoon driving back from the lake i was driving through christiansburg (right around virginia tech) and there were MAD trucks. we were still cruzing between 65-80 the whole time but i felt like i was gona get side swiped or some shit like that because those guys are defintally in a hurry and change lanes more than i do.

I dunno, but the speed limit doesn't matter when your stuck in traffic :P

Speed limit is 65 mph throughout the 405 freeway.
Says 55mph for trucks with trailers though. ;)

It's posted at 65, but you'll still get 'passed like you're standing still' while doing 75.
