DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THOSE WHEELS WEIGHT OR NAME (other than Weds???????)???????????

WEDS wheels were so 80's for VW's. They were cool for Rabbit Gti's and Scirocco II's for an E30 I think they have the wrong offset. For weights sorry can't help you there. They are NLA now so if you sell them post them on VWVortex site and they should go well.

Made in West Germany so there aren't that bad, but they were made for VW's.

Props to the future old skool VW driver with them.

does that mean that im running spacers? and if i do go with a rwd wheel will the tire/wheel come closer in or out?

spacers move your wheels out, not in.

Offset is the distance from the centerline of the wheel to the inside edge. RWD wheels have lower offset, like ET25 for example, while a FWD wheel will have an offset of say ET40. The RWD wheels will be closer to the fenders.

i know what spacers do but ur confusing me. by getting wheels on that have a lower offset that will bring the ire in towards the centerline... is taht what your saying or out to the outside of the fender

Personally I think the old school rims are way more Euro than any tire wrapping or super-slammed bimmers around. You do need to move those wheels out some, but otherwise I dig it. Give the car a little more body work (kit) and it'll be super sexy.

i ordered a front lip for the cactory is spoiler i just need the actuall is front lower sopiler now. and i would like a cf hood one day

A lower offset will push your wheels further out, to fill your fenders. Those wheels are probably a 35-38 offset wheel, and arent very wide, from the looks of it. If you got a good size spacer it would fill your fender wells better but I would just get some weaves or something if i were you

man, i actually dig those rims... too bad i do'nt like the idea of spacers that much. but if you have the money to blow on a good set of hubcentric spacers & get some BMW roundels on the centerpiece, i'd dig that :up: i'm startin to like old school rims like those more
