I wonder what influenced BMW to go ahead with sending the 1 series here. For the longest time magazines such as the Roundel kept mentioning that it was never destined for the North American market.

I believe its been confirmed that the 135i is gonna start at 35k so I'm guessing the 130i should sit right on par with the GTI pricing

So just how small is this car from the b pillar's back? Any interior pic's yet? We have a 2000 Golf that has worked very well for my soccer momma but she's not aging very well (the car not the wife). I'd like to trade in the Golf for one of these for m'lady.

The e30 needs a new stable mate.

i was wondering about these things. i was driving in my service truck yesterday and saw what looked like an undercover new M3. I know that sounds weird but it looked like it was trying to be stealthy while drive on a frontage road near my work. While i was following it, a stealthy little mini cooper came out of no where and behing that was that 135i. its really weird looking in person but i didnt know about the TT inline 6. There is a BMW factory or testing center near my work I see these kind of cars all the time. Yesterday I decided to follow one and thats what i got to see.
