Z4 ///M Coupe

Today I went to the dealer to kill time and look at stuff and they had the new Z4 ///M Coupe! I'd seen a couple on the road before but had never sat in one before. I was particularly impressed with the shifter, it is has a noticably shorter throw than the normal ///M3. The car basically has no overhang on the rear end...it looks badass. The interior is also devoid of most electonic shit you'd expect to find in new bimmers these days.

This is without a doubt my favorite new BMW.

Love the car also, if you read more about it bmw actually even fitted a different type of steering rack for better feedback with less electo assist iirc.

Once lease on my a4 is up i'll be looking for a used m coupe, always wanted one.

havent driven the M coupe yet, but I can say that the Z4 3.0si coupe was a VERY enjoyable experience, so I imagine the m coupe must be perfection(almost)
the 3.0 just pulled like crazy, it was so different feeling compared to the 330i cars.

One of my good friends just got one and all i can say is WOW. Its so fast, handles amazing and is much more a descendant of the e30 than the e90s

yeah I just finished reading the review in Bimmer. Good read. It says it almost makes the Z 4 ///M irrelevant. I love the styling too.Seems like a real enthusiast car. AND IT ONLY WEIGHS 3100+ lbs!!

from what i understand: last of the straight 6's [here in the US] that BMW plans to produce, only comes with a 6 speed and clutch pedal, and it has a traditional PS rack.

the base model bmw motor in the next few years is supposed to become a V8, meaning no more in-line 6's.
