anyone have a sticking throttle pedal? im looking to get my GF a 325e but the pedal is really stiff. the owner says he sprayed both the pedal and the throttlebody linlage however its still stiff, hard to press. anyone have this issue also, any fixes? thanks guys.

My vert has a stiff accelerator, I just tell the wife to think of it as excercise for a two pedal car due to lack of a clutch.
Honestly the throttle cable is probably binding or frayed in the housing. Spray some bicycle brake cable lubricant into the throttle cable. It has teflon which should help it slide.

Tell the guy who is selling it that it is a major problem. IE malfunction throttle body or the entire intake manifold is soo backed up with.... reciprocating backpressure that the engine will need at the very least a new carburator and possibly an entirely new intake and head.
