Anyone have this cell phone? Sony-Ericsson T610

absolutely dope phones .. the 610 is awesome too, but the 630 has a more advanced display apparently. Once u get used to the menu system, i was always a Nokia user, it is far superior... the camera is pretty much useless, but is god to take happy snaps and other pics where quality isnt important ... get one, NOW!

I've got the T610. Its pretty nice. I really like it and have no trouble using it. Its light as fuuck, has tight ass ring tones, has the ability to go on the internet, send recieve pictures, etc...but you know all of that. It gets good reception depending on where you are...getting a new phone and continueing with the same service provider shouldn't change your level of reception... If you are near or past the end of your contract with T-mobile, then I suggest you shop around for deals with phones and fatty rebates. I got my T610 last September, soon after it came out and got a fatty rebate where I got the phone for free and $30 cash back.

I used to have a sharp GX10, pretty wicked fone, till I got the shit kicked out of me for it.....Anyway, i'm waiting for sharp to do a flip fone without an aerial before going back. I'd alway been a Nokia pimp, but Sharp are pretty damn good. I quite like the GX30., it has a 1 megapixel comaer. Not bad for a fone!

My cell phone met with an untimeley death. It was in my pants when I threw them in the washing machine. Needless to say, it's DEAD. I'd been looking for an excuse to buy a new cell phone, and this little incident pushed it to the top of my to-do list.

I decided I was sick of always just having the enty-level phones that suck and end up breaking in 6 months, and went for the big guns. I've read countless reviews on this phone, and have been hard pressed to find a bad one. In fact, most of the few bad ones I did find sounded like they were written by people who'd never even used a cell phone before. I've never been one for the whole "camera-phone" thing, but I bet I will end up using it more than I think I will. Overall, it looks great, and sounds like it's a very solid unit.

I've had it since august last year, I like it for the same reasons as above. I have really only one complaint: the camera is crap (but I expected that) but it's quite cool to associate people in your phone book with pictures in the phone, that way you can immediately tell who's calling (custom ring tones works well too).
A friend of mine has the T630 and the only real difference is the better display, perhaps an upgraded camera function as well.

Good to know about the phone. Like I said, the camera function is the least important to me. I wanted a phone with a nice big screen, and a good looking display, without getting a flip phone. I ordered the phone last night, it should be here in a few days.
