and I've driven 2 different 2.5 s14'd E30 M3s and I didn't think it was worth the money, hence the reason for that not being an option.

e30s have a hell of a lot more style than e36s. and why stop drinking?:p The preference of e30s over other cars is not always a matter of dollars.

Don't mention. It's only worth more money if you sell it or try to replace it if it's stolen.

My S50 swap is almost complete, and I live in Southeast MA. I've been saying that for more than a month, but the exhaust has brought my swap to a standstill. And now, it's cold as balls. WTF!!

At the very least I've finally decided what to do, which is to use stock exhaust parts.

I have engine swap ADD. I have a second E30 that I am really musing doing an M50 swap to. This time with a junkyard booster setup from an E32 735i with the brake bomb. In fact I spent Sat morning pulling an E34 oil pan, dipstick, and pickup tube, instead of solving my exhaust woes. Cabin fever, I guess.

                Hey Optimo,
I am in the process right now of converting my second e30 m3 to an s50 swap. You are more than welcome to come down and I'll take you for a ride in the cabrio with the s50 swap. I absolutely love it!!! It gives the car the power that it deserves. I believe that you should do what you want with your car, as for the purists to each his own, don't hate! I have 2 e30 m3's and one has a freshly rebuilt s14 and the other is getting an s50 because I love the power and want to make an extremely fast track car! Optimo, send me a PM and I can send you my contact info. The s50 swap is pretty easy too!

You had me until I had to quit smoking and drinking. Then you lost me when you told me to get an E36.

It's in West Bridgewater. I will be doing some work up there in the spring, I plan on going. I hear from time to time the owners take their cars out on the track.
