link to a good 914 forum?

Kicking around in my head the thought of picking up a porsche 914. Old enough not to hae to deal with smog checks in CA, and throwing in a american motor, 911 suspention, ect. Sounds like a fun light car.

But I can't find a decent 914 forum, thought someone here might know.

    Thanks!

      Maybe here :-p

My dads next project car (so partially my project as well) will be a fully built 914/6

2.7L for the start, however shooting for around 275 - 300 in the end.

Already have the exact car reserved...rollbar, recaro seats, 930 turbo brakes and suspension.

      etc

I think a turbo V6 from a buick would be cool in one.

an LS1 would probably be considerably lighter than a late model flat 6 993 engine. While I love the sound of a flat 6, they're not that great in terms of hp/weight ... n/a that is

i have an indy car buick block with magnesium intake manifold

and, im thinkin that a ls1 is heavier, i deal with porsche flat sixes and ls x motors all the time'

porsche engines sound cooler when they are on the dyno

and as for hp/weight? how does 400 hp na sound?......900 hp turbo?

What V8 fits in the back of a 914? Excuse my ignorance.
