That is bitchin'!!! What is amazing about this car is that it embodies everything that Porsche has learned over the decades in competition, resulting in a truly cutting-edge car. Yet it still stays true to Porsches' roots by employing a gearshift and a clutch.....thus making it a real DRIVERS car. I'm sure SMG-like technology would bring the Carrera GT closer to being a real racecar, but Porsche has ways always remained firmly grounded in what has made them the worlds' premier sports car builder.

the vicory by design porsche DVD has some great footage of the GT at porsche's test track. that engine is all about PRIMAL SCREAM :twisted:

i mean, honestly, the only reason that car exists is becuase some sick and twisted individual decided to take porsche's scrapped prototype effort, and use the engine in a road car, hehe...
