Hey guys, im new to r3v but not to e30's

My first car was a 1986 325e sedan, it was my first car when I aquired my license. After college I needed a newer reliable car, so in 2001 I bought my GTI. I was heavily attached to my car and modded it heavily. In 2006 I lost my vr6, due to problems with my buyout on my lease. I then bought my 2003 1.8t gti, and tried to mod it but it wasn't the same. I finally decided to fix it up, but got t-boned about a month ago. I wanted another GTI but couldnt find myself to buying another one.

So I bought a 1991 BMW 325i Convertible, with the "Special Appearance package" (m-technic). I have been looking for this car for almost 11 years, and I finally found the right one. It needs very little work and everything is original. The body is straight and has never been in an accident. If I find a full M-technic edition I would pick it up in a heart beat. I am also lookin for a BMW e30 M3, but we'll see how the search goes. Well enough of my rant....... here are some pics.

nice find! that's really one nice looking cabrio specially with the m tech II appearance pkg option plus it's white on white-definitely the "chick magnet" car.
any mods along the way-is it a 5 speed car?
here's the most famous white m tech cabrio around:

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have watched dave's cabrio on baye30.net long time ago, at that time i still had my first e30. The car is an automatic, and has not been modified. Even though it is an auto, I still love the car.

I am also considering doing a tranny swap, but keeping everything stock and restore it back to original. I think the only mods I would do is to lower it, add some rims, and 5spd tranny swap. I also plan on restoring the interior and redoing the white leather, and getting a new top for it. The dash is perfect with no cracks.

For the engine, I plan on keeping everything original and just doing a tune up and changing gaskets in area's that need it. Its not leaking any oil, but it is leaking power steering fluid. I haven't had time to inspect it thoroughly, but when i find things wrong, I would definately fix it the right way.

      Thanks guys!!

Welcome, man! I remember seeing pictures of your white GTI when I used to spend a lot of time on Vortex. I had an 89' GTI with a vr6 swap, before I came here. It sucks that you got t-boned, but at least you're back into a clean RWD car. ;)

Meaning what? I could see why you might say my first e30 was "riced out", it was my car in high school.... oh i got stickers. I hope that was the car you were referring to.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and comments.....

Thanks man!! It was a lot of hard work, and time invested into the dubs. I had some magazines lined up for my white GTI, too bad that it didnt make it into a magazine before i lost it. My brother's GTI is getting shot for Performance VW in april. Pretty happy about that. He has a few magazines waiting to shoot his car too.

I am not planning too much for my e30. Just a bunch of restoration and I just want it to look euro and nice lookin rollin down the street.

Don't worry it won't be "riced out". :-D

Pretty much everything about your first E30 was rice, I wasn't even thinking about the stickers.
