I live right on Wisconsin Beach in O'side. Why, you near here? I see you're an audiophile. I'm actually an audio engineer by profession.

Well I was very impressed by your story, Fwappy.. from the sound of it, it seems like everyone thought you INTENDED on doing that and you were showing off. I had a similar situation where I was driving too fast through a parking lot. This was on a day where the snow was melting and the parking lot was full of wet sand.

Whenever my friends and I would meet at the movies, we would all park at the far end of the lot so that we could all park together and wait for each other before going in. Apparently on this day, my friends decided not to wait any longer so from a distance, as I saw them start walking away from the cars I drove as fast as I could to catch up with them so they wouldn't leave me. As I started to make the turn to pull into the space, the car skidded out of control into the next row of parking spaces. I thought to myself that I was going to hit a few parked cars but instead I ended up skidding right into an empty parking space.

I got out of my car calmly (the same way that when someone walks and trips, they keep walking as if nothing happened) and said "Hey everybody!" as they were looking at me like they wanted to say "WTF!" One guy even said, "You will have to show me that trick later." I said, "Sorry pal, it works only once."

Hey Scotty, I do that shit all the time, and if you know how, it works every time ;).

Original poster: take your car to a parking lot to do some spins before you creme a curb. Just take it easy, autobox's are really tricky to control.

i'm kinda suprised you chirped the tires from a dead stop in an automatic on dry pavement.

And remember, that's why people were looking at you with a "WTF" look on their face. They were wondering why you would be doing something like that in an automatic. I know ur getting a swap soon, so i can make fun.

                      I wouldn't say "underestimated", I'd say, "suprised".
