I had an incedent sorta like this a month ago except it wasnt a big truck instead it was a ford 350 van or whatever those damn long vans are and the idiot almost pushed me into a ditch.

I was less then a mile from home cruising along minding my own business and i see a van stopped in the road and didnt think much of it as it seemed like he was starting to roll forward, wrong the minute i got behind him he started backing up missing my drivers door by like an inch or less, i simply swerved almost ending up in a ditch. :?
kinda scary if you ask me as it was too close for my comfort.

No pics yet because my buddy was too sick to come out. But I did go by the autobody shop and get an estimate. $2500 without the one team dynamics wheel that got curbed and any unseen mechanical damage; which I know includes at least a control arm. Car comes up totalled at a grand though. Please tell me there is a way to get more for it I have at least 3 grand into the car so i'm getting an ass raping if they give me a grand.

You can get the money from the insurance and buy it back for less. Then you get another e30 and put the parts that you spent your money on, on the new car.

I don't want to fix it honestly, i'm tired of fixing old an old car, especially when i get fucked like this when I do have an accident. I'll probly be having some parts up for sale within the month, cuz i'm puttin all the stock shit back on before I let them total it.
