Thats why I stopped doing anything to my E34, It looks nice, Hella clears with smileys and some T stars and some other cosmetic mods. I mean I could drop in an S50 or turbo my m50 but new civics are 6 speeds with 197 horses and that Altima $24 thousand with 270 horsepower. Im sure I can find some cheap rear wheel drives too. So I'm just happy with making my E30 fun for myself and I could care less about the car thats lined up next to me at the stop light.

we have an air quality testing system here where all cars have to be inspected yearly (or every other year for newer cars). they weigh them when they are tested.
mine is 1299kg, which converts to 2864lbs. I have two 12's in the truck.

Granted the TSX is a newer car and what not, it is still a mid to high 15 second car. I'm gonna have to think that it would be a driver's race.

my 98 accord 3.0 has trouble against the m10, 0-80 but top end is governed at 155, and ive gotten to 140 with a lot of momentum left, but for the size of the car it handles pretty good for a big 4 door, they come with double wishbone set up, but it still lacks in corners compared to my e30 hands down, thats where you take them down plus that i-4 is no good, the accord is way too heavy to be a 4 banger, those arent even duel over head, nor are the 6's

Ironically enough (or just a sign that I'm endangering the public far too often), I have raced the '98-02 generation Accord V6 on the highway. We started from around 140km/h (87mph) and went all the way up to 235km/h (146mph). During that entire period he manged to get his front bumper ahead of mine by a couple feet, overall nearly perfectly even.

For comparison's sake, the TSX I raced in around the same speed range solidly left me. It's all in the gearing, with the 6-speed the TSX is constantly in its power band, while the Auto V6 Accord is likely saddled with too tall cogs.

Has anyone seen this months C&D it mentions that a Hyundai Sonata will do 145 mph, now that's scary.
